Growing Wheatgrass

You can even grow wheatgrass in the comfort of your home. For this, take a deep baking, plastic tray or flower pot. Lay down a thin layer, about one centimetre of moss and then add ordinary soil. Spread out seeds as evenly as possible. Water it and press the seeds down softly and carefully. Cover the newly seeded soil with a black plastic sheet to reduce water evaporation. Remove the plastic sheet, water thoroughly and place the tray where it can get some sunlight. After seven or eight days, the grass will be 10-15 cm high. It can be cut about one cm above the soil surface. The same seeds usually give more than one harvest.
