CBSE Exam 2020 for Class 10, 12: Central Board of Secondary education (CBSE) has decided to postpone today’s scheduled Class 10 and 12 exams in northeast Delhi whereas exams will be conducted in the rest of areas according to the schedule”, reported by CBSE Board. The scheduled exam for February 26th, 2020 is postponed in a total of 86 centers in northeast Delhi and the reschedule exam date will be notified soon, CBSE said.
Considering the deadly clashes in the national capital’s northeast Delhi, the education minister Manish Sisodia had requested the CBSE Board to postpone Wednesday’s board exam for class 10th and 12th, on Tuesday, 25th February 2020. Justice Rajiv Shakdher had asked CBSE to decide asap on the exam and communicate it to all involved ones.
Today’s CBSE Class 10 & 12 Exam Postponed In Northeast Delhi
“Schools in violence-affected Northeast Delhi will remain closed tomorrow. Internal exams have been postponed. CBSE is also requested to postpone tomorrow’s board exam,” Manish Sisodia tweet in Hindi.
After a lot of discussions happened on this the Central Board of Secondary Education released a statement like this, “Based on the request of Directorate of Education, Govt. of Delhi and to avoid inconvenience to students, staff, and parents, the Board has decided to postpone the following subject exams scheduled for 26.02 2020 in North East Part of Delhi.”
Exams Rescheduled for Today
According to the official exam notification, CBSE Board Exam 2020 for class 10th and 12th has been rescheduled on Wednesday. For CBSE Class 10 students, English papers have been postponed. Similarly for 12th students, ‘Media’ and ‘Web Application’ paper have been revoked.

As said earlier, CBSE board has rescheduled February 26th, 10 and 12 board exams at 86 centers located in the northeast part of Delhi. “However, the exams in the rest of Delhi shall be held as scheduled. The next date of exam for affected students will be notified shortly,” the Board said.
Delhi High Court heard the plea of the private school, Bhai Parmanand Vidya Mandirsaid in East Delhi, they said it was tough for the students to reach at the center as a result of violent clashes and riots in the area that have claimed 10 lives so far. So, they urged the court to control the CBSE to change the exam center from New Sandhya Public School to a center located in east Delhi district with adequate infrastructure and security.
