On 15th September 2020 (Tuesday), the union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal launched NCERT developed Eight-week Alternative Academic Calendar(AAC) for Class 9 to Class 12 Students. The main objective of releasing this NCERT Alternative Academic Calendar is to utilize the technology and social media handles to present quality educations during the student’s study time at home.
Earlier, the Minister of Human Resource and Development, MHRD, released a four-week Alternative Academic Calendar(AAC) for secondary and higher secondary stages on the official NCERT Website @ ncert.nic.in. On Tuesday, the Ministry of Education took its Twitter account to launch the news about the latest 8-week NCERT AAC for the secondary stage part II.
NCERT designed an Alternative Academic Calendar (AAC) for 12 weeks for primary & upper primary stages and now the ministry of education released Part II 8-week AAC for Classes 9 to 12 students. Have a look at his tweet here.

According to the ministry of education, “the Calendar further aims to empower our students, teachers, school principals & parents with positive ways to deal with #Covid19 via online teaching-learning resources and achieve the best possible learning outcomes.”
