It’s compulsory to keep some turmeric and neem paste for your body while taking a bath since yellow is the goddess’s favorite color. Once you complete your bath get dressed up in yellow-colored clothes.

Now, start gathering all the items you need for the Saraswati Puja. First of all, make a Saraswati idol and set up in the puja area. Take a piece of yellow/white cloth and place it over a platform like a stool/table. After that, place the goddess Saraswati idol in the middle of the table/stool. Also, make an idol of Lord Ganesha and keep it beside a goddess idol. Put some important books like an accounts book, notebook or music instrument or any other things near the idols.

Next step, decorate the Aarti plate with some amount of turmeric, kumkum, rice, sandal powder, flowers, and doop stick. Begin the puja by Light up a small lamp/incense stick in front of the idol, and Hyum or Sing some Ganesha or Saraswati mantras, take the things kept in the plate and offer to the god and goddess.
