If you are owning a Google Home Mini, then you might have faced some issues in functionalities of the device like the sudden crashing at maximum volume, the fabric issue and much more. The fabric issue of Home Mini due to which the company removed the functions of tap button on the top of the device is now back to the new methods. But wait! There is little change in that the tap function has now been changed to long press and also placed on the sides rather than the top.
Due to the contact recoding issue, Google removed the function but now after fixing the problem the company re-launched the service with a little change. Now one can play or pause by a long press at the sides of the Home Mini and the same if with the volume also. Now you can increase the volume while playing by using the sides of the Home Mini. The same function continues for music, news, alarms, phone calls and others. As the removal of the feature was creating a bit problem, thus the company re-launched the elements to serve better to its customers.
The new updates of unveiled at Google’s Software preview program which was held yesterday where the company announced about the comeback of play and pause button in Home Mini. The company also said the new devices would come with this feature and the previews ones will get an update soon. In short, all the tools will quickly get this functionality.
The top button was planned for controlling the playback and for letting people manually trigger the Assistant. But due to the fabric issue, the feature turned into a problem which was then fixed by removal of that option from the Home Mini. That replacement was not convenient for all the users. But let’s see how much this new feature will be compatible with the Home Mini devices.
