            \nTicket cancellation charges of AN 32 Courier Service reduced<\/strong><\/h3>\n

            • For the convenience of passengers travelling by\u00a0AN 32 Courier Service<\/strong>\u00a0from\u00a0Kargil to Srinagar and Jammu<\/strong>, the ticket cancellation charges have been reduced from the existing\u00a0300 rupees<\/strong>\u00a0to\u00a0150 rupees<\/strong>\u00a0per passenger.<\/li>\n
            • The decision was taken in a meeting held by\u00a0Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC, Kargil, Feroz Ahmad Khan.<\/strong><\/li>\n
            • The meeting was convened to review the necessary arrangements for the operation of the AN 32 Courier Service during the winter season.<\/li>\n
            • It was also decided that no employee of the Education Department and the Health Department, Kargil would be appointed as\u00a0Liaison Officers (LOs)<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Assistant Liaison Officers (ALOs)<\/strong>\u00a0for this Service.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n


              \nAyush Minister gives information about Ayurveda, Siddha & Unani system’s recognition in neighbouring countries<\/strong><\/h3>\n

              • The\u00a0Indian systems of Ayurveda and Siddha<\/strong>\u00a0are recognized in\u00a0Nepal<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Sri Lanka\u00a0<\/strong>and the\u00a0Unani system in Bangladesh<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
              • Minister of State for Ayush Shripad\u00a0Yesso Naik\u00a0<\/strong>gave this information in a written reply in the Lok Sabha last week.<\/li>\n
              • The\u00a0Ayush Ministry<\/strong>\u00a0has signed country-to-country MoUs with\u00a022 countries<\/strong>\u00a0for cooperation in the field of\u00a0Traditional Medicine and Homoeopathy.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n


                \nGovernment took several initiatives for providing Ease of Doing Business<\/strong><\/h3>\n

                • The\u00a0Corporate Affairs Ministry<\/strong>\u00a0has taken several initiatives for providing\u00a0Ease of Doing Business<\/strong>\u00a0to law-abiding corporates.<\/li>\n
                • This is in pursuance of the objective of providing greater Ease of Doing Business, bring about greater transparency in corporate structure and fostering better corporate compliance to enhance the efficiency of the process under the\u00a0Companies Act of 2013<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
                • They include the creation of an institution of a robust Insolvency and Bankruptcy framework.<\/li>\n
                • India has improved its ranking on the\u00a0World Bank\u2019s Doing Business 2020\u00a0<\/strong>report moving up 14 positions to 63rd position as compared to\u00a077th position in 2018.<\/strong><\/li>\n
                • India\u2019s leap of\u00a014 ranks<\/strong>\u00a0in the Ease of Doing Business ranking is significant considering that there has been a continuous improvement since 2015 and for the third consecutive year India is amongst the top 10 improvers.<\/li>\n
                • The Ministry has contributed towards insolvency resolution. India\u2019s ranking jumped\u00a056 places<\/strong>\u00a0to\u00a052<\/strong>\u00a0in\u00a02019<\/strong>\u00a0from\u00a0108<\/strong>\u00a0in\u00a02018<\/strong>. Recovery rate increased from\u00a026.5 per cent<\/strong>\u00a0in\u00a02018 to 71.6 per cent<\/strong>\u00a0in\u00a02019.<\/strong><\/li>\n
                • The\u00a0Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (Second Amendment) Bill, 2019<\/strong>\u00a0was introduced in the\u00a0Lok Sabha<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a012th of December, 2019.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                  • The\u00a0India Skills Report<\/strong>\u00a0said that nearly half of the professional degree holders are employable now.<\/li>\n
                  • The report was released by\u00a0Wheebox, People Strong, CII.<\/strong><\/li>\n
                  • Earlier, nearly\u00a070%<\/strong>\u00a0of the professional degree holders were found to be unemployable.<\/li>\n
                  • Nearly\u00a047%<\/strong>\u00a0of the students who were surveyed are found to be employable or ready to take-up jobs in\u00a02019<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                    • Ministry of HRD<\/strong>\u00a0is implementing the\u00a0Scheme of Vocationalisation of School Education<\/strong><\/li>\n
                    • under\u00a0\u2018Samagra Shiksha \u2013 an integrated scheme for school education\u2019.<\/strong><\/li>\n
                    • Under the scheme, a vocational subject is offered for\u00a0Classes IX to XII\u00a0<\/strong>along with the general education.<\/li>\n
                    • Till\u00a02018-19<\/strong>, the scheme has been implemented in\u00a08654 schools<\/strong>, with a reported enrolment of more than\u00a010 lakh students.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
