WhatsApp’s ‘View Once’ Feature 2021 Allow You Send Disappearing Photos, Videos That Can Be Seen a Single Time<\/h2>\n

WhatsApp finally rolls out the new feature called ‘View Once’- A Disappearing Photos Feature.<\/strong> This feature is available to the stable version of the app. This View Once WhatsApp feature works similarly like how Instagram’s expiring media feature. With the help of the ‘View Once’ feature, you can now send any photo or video which will not be saved to the recipient’s photo or gallery. After sending a View Once video or photo, WhatsApp won’t be able to show it again.<\/p>\n

However, the Facebook-owned company also says that if you don\u2019t open the photo or video within 14 days of it being sent, the media will expire from the chat. But it permits users to take a screenshot or screen recording of the media before it disappears. Also, the company stated that “Encrypted media may be stored for a few weeks on WhatsApp\u2019s servers after you\u2019ve sent it.\u201d<\/p>\n

How to Send View Once Videos\/Photos on WhatsApp?<\/h3>\n

  1. In the first step, you need to open WhatsApp and click on the attachment icon.<\/li>\n
  2. Next, go to Gallery and choose the photo or video you want to send to your contact.<\/li>\n
  3. Later you will view the icon like clock in the ‘Add a Caption’ bar, simply click on it to enable the View Once feature.<\/li>\n
  4. After enabling it, the app displays a message saying \u201cPhoto Set to View Once.\u201d<\/li>\n
  5. Finally, you can then send disappearing photos to your friends and family members.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
