The circular claims that owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, the UP Board has decided to promote 10<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0and 12<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Class students, without declaring UP Board Result 2020. The circular has come across as a great surprise for students who have appeared for the exam and their parents as well. Soon, students and parents reached out to UP Board seeking clarification on it. In response, UP Board Chairman Neena\u00a0 Srivastava has confirmed that a circular that has been widely been shared on social media, claiming that the board is planning to promote students without declaration of UP Board Result 2020 is fake.<\/p>\n<h2>What Does Fake Circular State?<\/h2>\n<p>The fake circular being circulated on social media under the name of Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, claims that the Board will promote and pass all the students of High School and Intermediate, without declaration of the results. Furthermore, the circular also states that during the COVID-19 outbreak the answer booklets for the UP Board 10<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0and 12<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Exam 2020 which were held in February month, were not taken care of and because of this the board has been forced to take this decision. The fake circular also claims that all students who have appeared for 10<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0and 12<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Class exams will be promoted and provided result will not contain any marks or subject-wise scores, but will instead mention \u2018pass\u2019 in all the fields.<\/p>\n<h2>No Such Decision Taken by Board, Confirms UPMSP Chairman<\/h2>\n<p>According to the UP Board Chairman, the board has not issued any such circular or has taken any decision with regards to promotion of High School or Intermediate Class students. In fact, the Board chairman Neena\u00a0 Srivastava also confirmed that no such proposal is even being considered at this moment to promote students of 10<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0and 12<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Class without declaration of results for which exams have been held successfully. As per the Chairman, there is no such decision or even planning done by the Board.
