Question paper will have 13 questions in all. All these questions will be divided into four sections as per the following pattern:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Section A: Reading (10 marks)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This section will have questions to test reading skills of students based on an unseen passage. There will be 6 questions asked on the basis of given paragraph with<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>4 questions of 2 marks each<\/li>\n<li>2 questions of 1 mark each<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Section B: Grammar (16 marks)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This section will have 4 questions. Each question will have 4 parts carrying 1 mark each. All these one mark questions will be from Grammar portion.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Section C:\u00a0Literature (34 marks)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This section is entirely based on the chapters and contents given in the textbook Kshitij Part-II and Kritika Part-II. For all those students who had studied the textbook thoroughly, it will be quite easy to score good marks in Section C.<\/p>\n<p>This section will have 5 questions of short and long answer type.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Section D: Writing (20 marks)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There will be three questions in this section to test the students\u2019 writing skills. Answers with creative and meaningful expressions will be awarded good marks.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First question will be the essay writing on any one of the given titles in about 200-250 words. It will carry 10 marks.<\/li>\n<li>Second question will be the letter writing (in about 80-100 words) with an option between the formal or informal type letter. It will be of 5 marks.<\/li>\n<li>Third question in Section D will be the advertisement writing on any one of the two given topics in about 25-50 words.
