- 2 cups coconut milk
- 1 1/4th cups of water
- ½ cup sugar
- 3/4th cup rice flour
- 1 cinnamon stick

- 10 cardamoms
- A pinch of salt

- In a bowl, mix star anise, cinnamon, saffron, turmeric, and cardamom with 1/4th cup of water and cover for a few minutes
- In a pan, cook sugar, coconut milk. salt and water. Bring to a boil
- Add the rice flour and stir till a smooth paste is formed
- Add the spice and cook for another 15 minutes, stirring continuously
- Pour the mix into a dish and serve cool
