Students will have to do self-study for the second part of the syllabus, while the third part will be covered through project work.

The Deputy CM had also said that experts have been asked to come up with a proper academic calendar.

He had said that “standard operating procedures (SOP)” would be issued to schools, districts and divisions apart from an overall statewide SOP, for the purpose of studies, evaluation and monitoring.

How was the UP Board syllabus changed?

Multiple meetings were held under the supervision of the Director of Secondary Education Vinay Kumar Pandey for the syllabus reduction process.
