Telangana SSC Examinations 2020: On Saturday, The Telangana high court stated that SSC examinations will not be conducted in the Greater Hyderabad Municipality Commission (GHMC) area due to the increasing number of Covid-19 positive cases. Moreover, the High court made it open that Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Ranga Reddy districts are identified as Corona Virus COVID-19 hotspots.
So that hight court decided to postpone TS SSC exams 2020 in the GHMC region. But in the remaining districts of Telangana state, there is no change in Telangana Class 10th exam schedule. Also, the High court stated that the Telangana education department should take COVID-19 precautions while conducting TS SSC 2020 Exams in the rest of the state.
Indicating that the state should take care as it affects the lives of students, a bench of judge Raghavendra Singh Chauhan and Justice B Vijaysen Reddy said the government should display adaptability regarding these students whose parents don’t want to send them out for exams due to Covid-19 fear.
“Those who miss the exams now should be allowed to write the supplementary exams, which are likely to be held in August or September. Their marks memos should show them as regular students and not as ones passed in supplementary exams, which is considered as a stigma,” noted the bench, signifying that it would permit the exams with such a condition.
By considering the high court decision, the education department of Telangana postponed the TS SSC exams in GHMC areas and stated that no changes are observed in the exam schedule for other regions in Telangana state. So, students are advised to read this announcement properly and prepare for their Telangana SSC exams which are appearing from 8th June 2020 to 5th July 2020.
