Deepika Padukone Chhapaak celeb reviews: Bollywood calls film stirring and uplifting

Deepika Padukone’s Chhapaak is set to release on January 10, 2020. Before the release, a special screening of the movie was conducted in Mumbai on January 9 for Bollywood Celebrities.

Deepika earns a thunderous response from Bollywood Celebrities like Ritesh Deshmukh, Yami Gowtham, Vishal Dadlani and more for the film Chhapaak. After watching the Chhapaak film in a special screening, celebs praised the film by their tweets on the social media platforms.

Ritesh Deshmukh

Riteish Deshmukh, after attending the special screening along with wife Genelia D’Souza, tweeted, “Just watched #Chhappak a brilliant film by one of my favourite filmmakers @meghnagulzar – @deepikapadukone’s portrayal of an acid attack survivor, her pain, her courage, her fight is pitch perfect. great debut as a producer. @masseysahib is such a wonderful actor (sic).”

Also, Riteish commended Laxmi Agarwal for giving inspiration to many women like her. In the next tweet, he wrote, “My heart goes out to Laxmi Agarwal on whose life the film is based upon. You are a real hero. You have inspired me and am sure your story will inspire millions more #Chhappak (sic).”

Genelia Deshmukh

Genelia D’Souza praised all the three main women who created Chhapaak film. Yami Gautam sensed Laxmi’s pain after watching Chhapaak. She wrote, “Pain is real, tears are real, but so is the hope & pride! Thank you for humanising this unjust reality!
