CBSE Board Exam 2020: Diet Tips For Students to Avoid Stress During Exams

Students felt exam time is just like a mental marathon not at all a piece of cake. So, we should support them not to take stress while sitting for exam preparation or final exams.

On that note, Dr. Geeta Buryok, Head-Dietician from Max Super Speciality Hospital, Shalimar Bagh stated some crucial tips to maintain the kids healthy and handle hungry cravings during this exam season.

Take Healthy Meals

To understand every concept of the subject, students need an active brain with more energy. This only happens when you take a balanced diet of meals along with healthy snacks. The meal must include some mental alertness related foods like eggs, milk & its products, tofu, sprouts, fish, chicken, healthy nuts as well as healthy cereals such as oats, Dalia, quinoa, and whole-wheat products.

However, some brain booster foods like banana, flaxseeds, almond walnuts, fish, chicken, banana, spinach, broccoli, etc. which enhances memory and concentration on studies. Must evade junk food items since it takes extra time and energy to digest.

Yes, hydration is very important, it makes you feel active always. So drink healthy beverages like fresh soups, milkshakes, coconut water, lassi, lemonade in place of aerated beverages. Also, you can add a small amount of coffee, tea, dark chocolate, etc in your diet as it helps you to be alert and active. Apart from this, the main thing you should do is detox your body with water.
