According to the latest Boxofficeindia.com, the film has a good start of around 30-35% but this also means that the first day collections will not be like what was expected from the film. The report further suggested that the collections of ‘Dabangg 3’ will be decent but will not be near challenging to the non-holiday collections of films like Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Sanju’ and Salman’s 2017 film ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’.
Despite the issues in the country, Salman’s ‘Dabangg 3’ is expected to become the second-best non-holiday opening of the year after Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor action-thriller ‘Saaho’. Due to high expectations and the franchise value of the film, Salman aka Chulbul Pandey is expected to dominate the box office from its first day.
It will be interesting to see the type of figures ‘Dabangg 3’ reports on its first day. If it was a normal day, the publication said it would have generated anything over Rs. 30 crore – but this now looks unlikely.
