The much-anticipated smartwatch revelation by Tommy Hilfiger and Hugo boss has finally taken place. This comes at a time when the popularity of android wear 2.0 time pieces continues to grow as people try to keep up with new technology and trends.
The two brands are hot on the heels of Diesel fashion brand that revealed its smartphone a few hours earlier. The watch is based on Google’s pioneering Android Wear that has brought a new feel in the smartwatch world. Android Wear 2.0 is the third update from the company since its initial launch in 2016 and is expected to be more advanced than its predecessors.
The disclosures were delayed as potential manufacturers waited for Google to finally release the latest update. This followed months of fine-tuning the software with five developers having been involved in the process since May. The slow speed of releasing the updates led to fewer smart watches being launched in 2016.
Just like Diesel, the announcements by Hugo Boss and Tommy Hilfiger happened during the BaselWorld 2017 event that happened this week. According to pundits, the announcements are depictive of a growing market and competition among the sellers and more revelations by other players are also expected.

Pictures of the watches, prices and the wearable devices were disclosed to the consumers and many people expressed lots of optimism. However, detailed information on the features, specifications, connectivity options, display size is somewhat insufficient to make a final judgment.
